Gordon County detectives seek child rape suspect

GORDON COUNTY, GA. (WRCB) -- The Gordon County Sheriff's Office is looking for a child rape suspect, after an incident Tuesday.

Detectives says 29-year-old Tony Cuevas allegedly raped a juvenile female in the Sonoraville area.

He was last seen near Boone Ford Road, wearing blue shorts and a blue tank top.

Authorities do not believe he is armed.

Warrants have been issued for rape and obstructing police officers.

Anyone with information regarding Cuevas' whereabouts is urged to call 911.
