Red Bank hires new city manager

RED BANK, TN. (WRCB) -- Red Bank will soon have a new city manager.

Mayor Monty Millard tells Channel 3, commissioners voted 4-1 to hire Randall Smith over Charles Beale.

Millard says Smith is originally from Middle Tennessee, and currently owns a business in Florida.

The city hopes to have Smith on the job as soon as possible, but it could be as late as January 1, to allow him time to leave his business.

Millard says the job comes with an annual salary of $80,000 with benefits.
