MEIGS COUNTY, TN. (WRCB) -- The Meigs County Sheriff's Office says a tip from Sweetwater Police led to the recovery of nearly $180,000 worth of stolen items.

Chief Deputy Brian Malone tells Channel 3, Detective Wayne Irwin and deputies found more than a dozen vehicles, along with a trailer, three mowers, lawn equipment, a tree chipper, a caterpillar bobcat, numerous motors and transmissions, and various car parts and tools.

Most of the owners have been found.
