EAST RIDGE, TN. (WRCB) -- The long awaited decision on whether or not an East Ridge family can keep their pet goat has been delayed a second time.
East Ridge City Council members decided to postpone their vote on an ordinance that would allow the family to keep their goat, Oreo, in their backyard.
The council is considering a proposal that carves out an exception for domesticated animals.
The vote has been tabled until the next meeting, scheduled for October 11.
Until then, Oreo can stay.
