CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - Deputies in Hamilton County are searching for a robbery suspect.

The robbery happened around 9:30 Tuesday night at the Save-A-Lot on Middle Valley Road when two employees were approached by the suspect while they were walking to their vehicles after they had closed the store.

The suspect hit the male employee in the face with a gun.

He then grabbed the cash bag and left the scene.

The suspect is describes as a light skinned black male, 5'9" around 120 pounds. He was wearing all black and a hat. He was seen driving away in a gold Saturn with a factory spoiler.
