Chatsworth woman killed in dump truck collision

MURRAY COUNTY, GA. (WRCB)  -- A Chatsworth woman is dead, after crashing into a dump truck Monday morning.

It happened at the intersection of Highways 76 and 52 around 8:45 a.m.

The Georgia State Patrol tells Channel 3, the SUV driven by 45-year-old Angela Burt hit the rear of the dump truck while it was sitting at the intersection.

Burt died as a result of the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.
