BRADLEY COUNTY, TN (WRCB) -- A Bradley County Grand Jury returned true bills on Wednesday, related to the tragic events of May 30 where three year-old Kydalynn Robinson died as a result of a gunshot wound.

Sheriff's deputies and emergency medical service personnel responded to a 9-1-1 call that day by the child's mother.

Initial investigation showed the three–year-old and her two-year-old cousin were inside the home playing when they apparently found a .45 caliber handgun.

Detectives and forensics technicians continued the investigation of the tragic incident.  The death appears to be accidentally self - inflicted.

The Grand Jury returned true bills for Tommie Graham, 57, criminally negligent homicide and reckless endangerment; his wife, Deborah Louise Graham, age 56, reckless endangerment; their daughter and the mother of Kydalynn Robinson, Jennifer Haylee Graham, 23,  reckless endangerment; and their daughter, Elizabeth Hayden Graham, 25, reckless endangerment.

All four turned themselves in at the Bradley County jail Thursday afternoon and were released on their own recognizance pending arraignment in criminal court.

Tennessee Highway Patrol Colonel Tracy Trott issued a brief statement Thursday after the arrest in regards to Tommie Graham, who is a THP Lieutenant.

"While the incident in question is not related in any way to his duties as a trooper, Lieutenant Tommie Graham has been placed on discretionary leave. No decision has been reached regarding the length of the discretionary leave or any internal disciplinary action. We have faith in the justice system and continue to keep Lt. Graham and his family in our thoughts and prayers," said Col. Trott.
