CHATTANOOGA. TN (WRCB) -- Homicide detectives are investigating an early morning stabbing in South Chattanooga that left an 18 year-old man dead.
Just after midnight Sunday morning, Chattanooga Police were dispatched to 2604 E. 44th St. on a report of a person stabbed. Upon arrival, officers found Artemis Balthazar with multiple stab wounds.
Balthazar was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Sgt. Wayne Jefferson said they have no suspect information at this time, but noted the case is still under investigation and more information will be released when available.
It happened shortly after 8 p.m. on McCutcheon Road near Lee Highway.
