Meth lab causes explosion in Catoosa County

CATOOSA CO. (WRCB) - Investigators say an overnight explosion in Catoosa County was caused by a meth lab.

Firefighters were called to Winifred Drive in Fort Oglethorpe early Tuesday morning.

They say a mobile home on the property had caught fire.

One man was burned.

He was taken Erlanger at Hutcheson, before being airlifted to the Joseph M. Burn Center in Augusta, Georgia.

Authorities have not yet released the man's name.
