State making it easier for voters to get photo ID's

Posted: Updated:

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - State leaders in Tennessee are making it easier for people who want to vote on November Sixth to obtain photo ID's.

The Bonny Oaks Driver Service Center in Hamilton County is one of 8 in the state that will open on the first Saturday of October and November to provide free state-issued ID's.

A state law that took effect in January requires Tennessee residents to present a federal or state-issued photo ID to vote.
