TN Court of Appeals to rule on recall effort of Chattanooga mayor

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - We should learn this week how the Tennessee Court of Appeals will rule on the recall effort against Mayor Ron Littlefield.

The two major points are whether the city charter was valid at the time of the recall and whether supporters gathered enough signatures or dated signatures to force a recall.

The group trying to oust the mayor took issue with high taxes and wasteful spending.

The decision is expected Wednesday.
