Suspect wanted for child abuse

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - Crime Stoppers is on the hunt for a man wanted for abusing an eight year old.

Police say Dathan Mitchell got upset with the child about not sitting down to eat at the table.

He then grabbed the child, and hot food spilled on the 8-year-old's face causing second degree burns.

Mitchell has other warrants that include criminal trespassing and failure to appear.
