KNOXVILLE, TN (News Sentinel) -- A West Knox County woman this morning chose a bad place to sleep off a night of drinking when she parked in the drop-off line of an elementary school.
Knox County sheriff's deputies were called about 7 a.m. to A.L. Lotts Elementary School, 9320 Westland Drive, because of a Lexus RX350 situated awkwardly in the student drop-off lane. Parents taking their children to school had to drive around the Lexus, which was reported as an abandoned vehicle.
The gray Lexus was inoperable, according to Knox County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Hillary Coward.
"It appeared she had driven it over a curb, causing two tires to blow out," Coward said.
