(WRCB) - Are you ready for some football...weather?! It won't be here for the high school games tonight, but much cooler air is moving in this weekend for the college and pro games.
Basically today will still be warm and a little humid with highs in the low 90s. An approaching front will give us some clouds and a very SLIGHT chance of one or two late night storms. I would take the umbrella, but don't expect to use it.
We should see more widespread showers and maybe even a few strong storms Saturday morning. Cooler air will slide in Saturday afternoon with highs in the low 80s. We may be a little breezy on Saturday afternoon as well.
The cooler air will stay in place through most of next week with lots of sunshine and low humidity (the low humidity will be key in the comfort level of the air) staying with us through at least NEXT Friday.
In advance of the rain, download the WRCB weather app and track the storms right from your smart phone or ipad.
