(WRCB) - As the remnants of Isaac move by to our north, isolated showers will continue on and off through the morning and early afternoon.
During the late afternoon and evening hours, there is a slight risk of severe thunderstorms which could produce (though not likely) an isolated tornado or areas of damaging straight line winds. We will need to be VERY watchful this afternoon.
Tuesday through the rest of the week we will see only the occasional shower or storm during the afternoon hours. Hot, humid weather will prevail midweek with highs in the low 90s and plenty of humidity.
Saturday, a front will slide through and bring more showers and storms, but behind the front we will enjoy cooler (low 80s) and drier weather for Sunday.
