Emergency drill at Sequoyah Nuclear Plant- It's only a drill

SODDY DAISY, HAMILTON CO., (WRCB) - TVA and other federal, state and local agencies will conduct a regularly scheduled emergency preparedness exercise for the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant Tuesday afternoon.

The drill will involve about 1,000 TVA and state of Tennessee employees and emergency responders in Hamilton and Bradley Counties.

Residents of these counties may see radiological monitoring teams or other emergency responders in action as part of the drill and may hear on-site and off-site sirens sound.
