(WRCB) - Claiming unemployment benefits will soon take some work.

Starting September first, anyone hoping to collect unemployment in Tennessee will have to show that they are actively looking for work, that includes keeping a work search log.

The State Labor Department plans to conduct random audits. Claimants will be required to show they've done at least three work searches each week.
