RHEA COUNTY, TN. (WRCB/TFP) -- Channel 3 has learned a police has ended in Spring City Monday.

A Rhea County dispatcher tells Channel 3 it ended on Highway 27 near the Highway 68 bypass, but couldn't release any further information.

Our partners at the Chattanooga Times Free Press report the chase began in Meigs County and ended with a shooting.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is handling the case.

Details are limited. Channel 3 has a crew working to bring you the latest.
