KODAK, Tenn. (WRCB) -- J.T. Wise had two hits and drove in three runs, but Chattanooga still lost to Tennessee 5-4 in the rubber match of a five-game series Thursday night at Smokies Park.

Despite the loss, the Lookouts (35-25) still hold a three-game lead over Jackson in the North Division with ten games left in the regular season. The Smokies are in third, six games behind Chattanooga.

Tennessee scored three runs in the first and two more in the second off Lookouts' starter Andres Santiago (0-1). Doubles by Justin Bour, Junior Lake and Jae-Hoon Ha produced all five runs.

All five runs were earned against Santiago, who allowed six hits and issued two walks while striking out five in four-plus innings. Eric Eadington, Wes Roemer and Geison Aguasviva combined for nearly five innings of hitless relief to keep the Lookouts in the game.

Wise, who is now hitting .410 (16-for-39) in his last ten games with 14 RBI, delivered a three-run double in the fifth to pull Chattanooga within 5-4. However, the Lookouts' were sent down in order in each of the next three innings before stranding the tying run at second in the ninth.

Chattanooga returns to AT&T Field to open its final regular season homestand on Friday night at 7:15 p.m. ET against Jackson.
