Duplex on Wilson St. damaged by early morning fire

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - The Chattanooga Fire Department spent Tuesday morning working a duplex fire.

The call came in just after 5:00 a.m. of a fire on Wilson Street in the Emma Wheeler Homes area.

When crews arrived they discovered fire coming out of the attic.

There were several people in the left side of the duplex, the right side was vacant. All occupants got out safely.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
