CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) -- J.T. Wise and Blake Smith each drove in two runs as Chattanooga stayed hot with a 6-1 win over Jacksonville Thursday night at AT&T Field.

The Lookouts (31-22) have now won five of six to maintain a three-game lead over Jackson in the North Division.

Wise continued his recent tear with three hits, including a two-run double in the Lookouts' three-run sixth. The Chattanooga first baseman is hitting .368 with 24 RBI in his last 19 games.

Smith delivered a two-run triple in the second to give the Lookouts the lead. He scored one at-bat later on an RBI-single by Luis Nunez, who also had three hits.

Allen Webster (6-8) worked out of trouble through five-plus innings, overcoming five hits and three walks to give up just one unearned run. He fanned Kyle Jensen to escape a bases-loaded jam in the third for one of his five strikeouts.

Wes Roemer, big-leaguer Scott Elbert and Steve Smith combined for 3.2 innings of scoreless relief to close it out.

Elbert, who is on a rehab assignment for the Dodgers, struck out all three batters he faced. He's faced five batters in two relief appearances since joining the Lookouts Tuesday, striking out all five.
