Cleveland Police investigate Wednesday night stabbing

CLEVELAND (WRCB) - The Cleveland Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred Wednesday night.  When emergency officials they arrived they found a 22 year old male stabbed in the leg.

The victim and his dad were reportedly approached by two white males.  One of the suspects had a knife and allegedly approached the father.

The son in an effort to protect his father tried to kick the knife and sustained a wound to his leg.

He was treated on the scene by EMS, then taken to the hospital in stable condition.  

The incident is under investigation by the Cleveland Police Department.
