Deadline looms for putting name on ballot

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - The deadline for those hoping to see their name on the November ballot for local municipal elections is Thursday, August 16th.

It will determine who serves on city governments across Hamilton county.

So far, nearly forty people have picked up papers to run for sixteen seats, but not all of the papers have been returned.

Chattanooga's municipal elections will held in March.
