PENSACOLA, Fla. (WRCB) -- Billy Hamilton had two hits and swiped three more bases while three Pensacola pitchers combined on a four-hit shutout in the Blue Wahoos' 5-0 win over Chattanooga Wednesday night at Blue Wahoos Park.

Despite the loss, the Lookouts (26-20) maintain a half-game lead atop the Southern League's North Division thanks to Jackson's 2-1 loss to Montgomery.

Hamilton led off the fourth with a single, then stole second and third before scoring the game's first run on a throwing error by Chattanooga catcher Griff Erickson. Hamilton later singled, stole second and scored in the sixth to extend the Blue Wahoos' lead to 4-0.

Hamilton now has 131 stolen bases in 109 minor league games between Class-A Bakersfield and Double-A Pensacola.

Chad Rogers (2-0) gave up three hits and struck out six in six scoreless innings before turning it over to Drew Hayes and Justin Freeman. The two relievers combined for two strikeouts and one hit allowed in three innings.

Blake Smith had two of the Lookouts' four hits, including a double, but was stranded on base both times.

Matt Magill (9-6) took the loss after four runs on four hits in five-plus innings.

The two teams will play game two at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday night.
