Marion Co. to sell ambulances

MARION COUNTY, TN (WRCB) - Marion County officials are trying to decide how to dispose of five ambulances without losing money.

The county recently switched providers, from Grandview Medical to Puckett EMS.

Commissioner Donald Plansett told the Chattanooga Times Free Press, by contract with Grandview, the county was obligated to buy six ambulances.

Blansett says the county will not be able to recover the money it has in the ambulances if the vehicles go to auction.
