ATLANTA (WRCB) -- The Georgia Department of Labor will assist Mount Vernon Mills fill a number of jobs for production workers at its denim manufacturing facility in Chattooga County next week.
The recruitment will be held Friday, Aug. 3, from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the company's human resources office, located at 91 Fourth St. in Trion. The company will be recruiting entry-level workers for machine operator and material handler positions.
Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old. While no manufacturing experience is necessary, applicants are encouraged to have a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED).
