Multiple drug arrests in Jackson County, AL

FLAT ROCK, AL (WRCB) -- A traffic stop and a search warrant Wednesday led to the arrests of four people for drug-related charges in Flat Rock, AL in two separate incidents.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Jackson County Road 14 in Flat Rock. The passenger of the vehicle, Sharon Gayle McCarson, age 53 of Flat Rock was found to be in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine.   McCarson was transported to the Jackson County Jail and charged with Possession of controlled substances (Methamphetamine). No bond set at time of release.    

Also on Wednesday, On Wednesday July 25th, 2012, Jackson County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit and the Stevenson Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence on Kansas Ave. in Stevenson, Alabama. As a result of this search warrant approximately 8 grams of methamphetamine, Viagra Pills and Drug Paraphernalia were seized.

Arrested in connection with this investigation were:

- Chris Bryan Woodruff, age 25 of Stevenson, AL. who was charged with Possession of Controlled Substances (Methamphetamine), and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.   

- Terry Dwayne Wilson, age 44 of Stevenson, AL. who was charged with Possession of Controlled Substances (Methamphetamine), Illegal Possession of Prescription Drugs and Possession of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

- Tara Michelle Abner, age 36 of Scottsboro, AL. who was charged with Possession of Controlled Substances (Methamphetamine), Illegal Possession of Prescription Drugs and Possession of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

No bond set at time of release.
