BRADLEY COUNTY, TN. (WRCB) – A man is charged in a deadly boating incident that claimed the life a Cleveland woman almost a year ago.
Lee Wilmont, spokesperson for the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency, says 33-year-old Deontae Davis was indicted by a grand jury for vehicular homicide last week.
The indictment is the result of an investigation into the death 32-year-old Misty Rymer Thompson in August 2011.
Wilmont says Davis was driving the boat, when he collided with a concrete pillar.
Rymer was killed in the crash.
Davis was arrested Monday and being held in the Bradley County jail on a $15,000 bond.
