HAMILTON COUNTY, TN. (WRCB) – A Hamilton County official has passed away over the weekend.

As president of APBA Offshore Racing, Poplin is credited for bringing the races to Lake Chickamauga for three years, starting in 2005.

Visitation will be at Heritage Funeral Home on Battlefield Parkway Monday July 23, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with a service to follow.
