CLEVELAND (WRCB) - A prosecutor in the 1999 Valentine's Day murder trial could face discipline from a state board.
The Board of Professional Responsibility has issued a petition for discipline against Assistant District Attorney Paul Rush.
He worked on the trial of Michael Younger, which was declared a mistrial.
The petition claims rush failed to notify defense attorneys that one of his witnesses was facing check fraud charges, which they could have used to cast doubt on her credibility.
Rush has said he did tell the defense the witness in question had prior convictions, and pending charges.
