Failure to stop leads in meth bust
HAMILTON COUNTY, TN. (WRCB) -- A 31-year-old man is in the Hamilton County jail, after deputies found meth-making materials in a truck he was driving.
But he wasn't the only one involved.
It all started when police say Jonathan Palmer ran a stop sign at Gates and Moses roads.
He pulled over in a driveway and that's when a passenger got out and took off into some woods nearby.
Palmer wasn't so lucky. The deputy found meth-making materials in his Chevy truck.
Sheriff's Office Spokeswoman Janice Atkinson says a "shake & bake" bottle that was actively cooking.
Palmer was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, and three counts of reckless endangerment.
