Pot seized, 5 arrests made in Chattooga Co. roundup

CHATTOOGA COUNTY, GA. (WRCB) – The Chattooga County Sheriff says Wednesday's drug roundup was a success.

Sheriff John Everett tells Channel 3 his agents found 41 pot plants, in four different locations, during an aerial search.

He says the drugs are worth at least $164,000.

Deputies also seized $3,600 in cash and eight weapons.

The sheriff says five arrests were made during the operation.
