HAMILTON COUNTY, TN (WRCB) -- Four people were injured, one seriously, in a single vehicle crash that occurred just after midnight Saturday morning on Lovell Road.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office received a call at approximately 12:20 a.m. regarding a single vehicle crash at 9400 Lovell Road.  

When deputies arrived on scene they found a 2008 Hyundai Elantra occupied by four subjects had been traveling south bound on Lovell Road.  The vehicle left the roadway on the right side landing in a ditch.  

One occupant identified as Scott Stelling, 18, was ejected from the vehicle and sustained serious injuries.  

The others, identified as Zachary Burns, 18, Joseph Leffew, also 18, and Anthony Thomas, 26 were also transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.

The investigation at this point shows that alcohol and reckless driving were contributing factors in the crash.  

The investigation is on-going and charges are likely pending.
