UPDATE: Police investigating two early morning shootings

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -- Two different shootings in Chattanooga early Wednesday morning have left three people recovering on this Fourth of July holiday.

Just after 2:30 a.m. Chattanooga Police responded to a shooting at the Kangaroo gas station at 4900 Brainerd Rd.The officers found that the victim, 18 year-old Emmanuel Harris, had been shot at this location and was transported to a local hospital prior to their arrival. 

Harris is listed in stable condition and investigators are still working on suspect leads.

Then at 3:30 a.m. a Chattanooga Police Officer was flagged down by George Dillard, 22, and Alisha Twitty, 24, on Rossville Blvd.  Dillard was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and Twitty had a minor injury to her face. 

Both parties were transported to a local hospital for treatment where they are listed in stable condition. 

Investigators found that the incident occurred at 4107 Fagan Street and believe that Dillard was targeted by the unknown suspect.
