ETOWAH,
TN. (WRCB) -- A Wisconsin based company
with local ties has a new name and owner.
Tuesday,
ThyssenKrupp Waupaca announced it's has been purchased by KPS Capital Partners and will now be called
Waupaca Foundry.
The
company employs 3,500 people at six plants, with one being in Etowah.
The
foundry produces graphite and iron castings used for cars, construction,
farming and other industrial markets.
