Country music hit maker Aaron Tippin coming for fundraiser show

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - One of Chattanooga's largest non-profit volunteer youth soccer organizations is planning a fundraising concert featuring 1990s country hit maker Aaron Tippin.

Tippin's career includes three Billboard #1 hits: "There Ain't Nothin' Wrong with the Radio" (1992), "That's as Close as I'll Get to Loving You" (1995), and "Kiss This" (2000), as well as several top ten hits: "You've Got to Stand for Something", "I Wouldn't Have It Any Other Way", "My Blue Angel", "Working Man's Ph.D", "For You I Will", and "Where the Stars and Stripes and the Eagle Fly".

Channel 3 and our partners at US-101 are welcoming the event, planned for Friday, July 20 at Redoubt Soccer Complex on Bonny Oaks Drive. Gates and parking open at 6:00 p.m. with local band Robby Hopkins Band opening the stage at 7:15 p.m.

Adult admission is $20, children 13 and under are $10, and children 3 and under are free. General tickets receive free parking at Silverdale Baptist Church and US XPress with free shuttles to the soccer complex. VIP admission is $50 and comes with preferred seating close to stage and parking at the soccer complex.
