CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) -- The Tennessee Valley Authority hit an all-time record in power demand over the weekend.
Friday broke the all-time peak for June, which was set in 2006 at nearly 32,000 megawatts.
Saturday's demand was slightly lower, but it broke the all-time peaks for a Saturday and a weekend.
And, Sunday was the second all-time high for a Sunday.
The average day in June for TVA is typically a little more than 20,000 megawatts.
