Fatal accident on Highway 64 in Polk County

POLK CO. TN (WRCB) - One person is dead after an accident Friday in Polk County.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol says Michael Kinnett of Blairsville, GA was driving down Highway 64 Friday night.

For an unknown reason, his car went into a ditch and rolled near the Ocoee Whitewater Center.

The car landed on its top after hitting a guardrail.

Kinnett died on the scene.
