CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) -- Despite Tropical Storm Debby in the Gulf of Mexico, oil prices are expected to keep dropping.

Some analysts are predicting the whole country could be paying $3.00 for a gallon of regular gasoline by Halloween.

Locally, you can find some stations are already charging less.

According to AAA, the national average of a gallon of gas has dropped .08 cents last week to $3.42 a gallon.

The average in Tennessee dropped .07 cents to $3.10 a gallon and drivers in Georgia saw about a .05 cent drop to $3.21 a gallon.
