Ron and Ray Bohlman Win Hunter Oil June C.B.A. Night Tournament

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - The team of Ron and Ray Bohlman from Sale Creek, Tenn., caught a five-bass limit weighing 27.18 pounds to win first place and $2,000 in the Hunter Oil June CBA Open Night tournament. The winning team reported catching their fish on homemade spinnerbaits and jigs they make themselves.

Steve Kite and Daniel Lewis took over-all big-fish honors with a giant largemouth bass weighing 8.50 pounds and earned them $270.

Carter Day and Ron Willerson won the biggest spot award with a spotted bass weighing 1.79 pounds and earned them $90.

Allen Lewis and Brad Ferguson won the biggest smallmouth award with a smallmouth bass weighing 4.66 pounds and earned them $90.

The highest finishing New Team Award went to the team of Brian Wilson and Tom Brindle earning them a free entry into next month's event.

The father and son team of Jeff and Josh Reed were they highest finishing Youth Division Team and also earned a free entry into next month's tournament.

  • 2nd: Galen James and Tony Townsend 25.66 lbs., $700
  • 3rd: Jim McClanahan and Derrek McCullough 25.26 lbs., $550
  • 4th: Steve Kite and Daniel Lewis 23.50 lbs., $450
  • 5th: John Muina and Sisfrid Muina 23.13 lbs., $350
  • 6th: Shane Frazier and Randy Frazier 22.64 lbs., $300
  • 7th: Chris Coleman and Jim Cross 21.82 lbs., $225
  • 8th: Keith Ellis and Roger Kendrick 21.59 lbs., $150
  • 9th: Brian Wilson and Tommy Brindle 21.50 lbs., $100
