One day left to enter St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway

Posted: Updated:

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -- Local volunteers for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital will announce the winner of a $300,000 house tomorrow, June 24.  Donated by Pratt Homebuilders, the 2,723 sq. ft. home is top prize in the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway.
Odds are amazing! Fewer than 6,000 of the 7,500 tickets for this raffle have been sold, but organizers say the drawing will proceed.  WRCB Channel 3 will air a two-hour live special at Noon so local supporters can watch to see who will win this beautiful home.

"Someone is going to win this house for a hundred dollars," said Jill Cannon, chair of the campaign.  "It will be theirs to keep or to sell, but it's a beautiful house."

More information about the 6th annual St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway is available at 1-800-750-6962.  Callers may also reserve $100 tickets for the giveaway with any major credit card.  Secondary prizes include $1,000 JCPenney shopping spree, a home entertainment package, courtesy of Pediatric Dentistry of Ooltewah, LLC, and many more.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is internationally recognized for its pioneering work in finding cures and saving children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. St. Jude is the first and only pediatric cancer center to be designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute.

Founded by late entertainer Danny Thomas and based in Memphis, Tenn., St. Jude freely shares its discoveries with scientific and medical communities around the world. St. Jude is the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for treatment not covered by insurance. No child is ever denied treatment because of the family's inability to pay.

St. Jude is financially supported by ALSAC, its fundraising organization. For more information, please visit
