Frozen lemonade cools crowds during Riverbend

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -- The Frozen Lemonade stands at Riverbend keep people cool while watching the bands play.

Starting in Lexington, Kentucky, this cold treat has made its way down to Chattanooga, TN. There are four stands throughout the festival, which are all owned by John Fish, who also owns the Ginnochio pizza stand.

Country Time lemonade is mixed with crushed ice and their own flavor. No sugar is added.  The lemonade is made fresh throughout the evening, with two coolers under each tent.

"It's always fresh, made about five or six times throughout the evening," said worker Daniel Thompson.

John says he brings the Frozen Lemonade to twenty-two events in six states. The stands take three hours to build up and the same time to take down, but it's all worth the time for this tasty treat.

"Everybody likes lemonade, I just did it a little different," said John.
