Suspect in custody following police chase through 4 counties

MCMINN COUNTY, TN. (WRCB) -- One person is in custody following a chase that started in McMinn County.

A trooper with the Tennessee Highway Patrol tried to stop the vehicle for reckless driving in the county early Thursday morning.    

Speeds reached more than 100 miles a hour, with the chase going through four counties.

Officers finally stopped the driver in Knoxville.

Officials haven't yet said who the driver was or specified the charges.
