Suspect wanted in Maine found in Whitfield County

WHITFIELD CO., GA (WRCB) - A man is behind bars in Whitfield County wanted for sexual assault in Maine.

Thirty-nine year old James Robert Underwood is wanted for gross sexual assault.

Officials tell Channel 3 there was a warrant out for his arrest.

According to the arrest report, Underwood lives and works in Dalton.

No word on how Whitfield deputies found Underwood.
