Medical examiner testifies in Sam Parker hearing seeking a new trial

CHATTANOOGA -

(Times Free Press) - State medical examiner Kris Sperry in a hearing today argued the jawbone belonging to Theresa Parker showed signs of trauma before her death.

The state called Sperry to testify about his autopsy findings during the motion for a new trial hearing for Sam Parker, her husband and a former LaFayette, Ga., police officer.

Sam Parker was convicted of killing his dispatcher wife in 2009.
