CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -- Have you ever wanted to be in the movies?  Do you have any clothes that would make you fit in with the 1940's?  If you answered yes to both questions, Tuesday could be your lucky day.

The casting directors at Catrett Locke Casting announced today they are in search of background talent for the feature film, "42, " produced by Legendary Films filming in Tennessee and Alabama this year.

The open call is scheduled for this Tuesday, April 10, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Eastgate Town Center, at the center court by the fountain.

Producers are specifically seeking adults 18 and over for "all looks", especially people with "great character faces."  They are looking for baseball fans, umpires and coaches, people with the 1940's look and clothing.

However, be sure not to wear brown. Casting officials stress "absolutely no brown".  What they are looking for in women is era-appropriate dresses, oxford shoes, pumps, hats (small) vintage if they have them and in men, era-appropriate dress pants, short sleeve button shirts, suspenders, sportcoats, dress shoes and fedoras.

Free parking or parking will be validated. All positions are paid, if cast. You are asked to please bring a pen and headshots if you have them and please know your wardrobe sizes (height, waist, inseam, shoe, etc.).

The film is based on the life story of Jackie Robinson and his history-making signing with the Brooklyn Dodgers under the guidance of team executive Branch Rickey.

It is written and directed by Brian Helgeland and stars Harrison Ford and Chad Bozeman.
