MURRAY COUNTY, GA. (WRCB) -- A Murray County man, charged in the death of his infant daughter, pleaded not guilty Wednesday.
According to the Murray County Court Clerk, Isaac Whaley will stand trial in June for the death of his 4-month-old daughter, Jaidyn.
The baby was taken to Murray Medical Center on November 17, 2010 by her father, Isaac Whaley, where she died two days later.
The State Crime Lab ruled the infant died as a result of a traumatic head injury.
District Attorney Kermit McManus presented the case to the grand jury on January 16, and a homicide indictment was returned.
Whaley will have a chance to change his plea May 24.
His trial is scheduled for June 4.
