(WRCB) - There is a slight risk of some severe thunderstorms popping up around the Tennessee Valley through the afternoon and into the evening hours.

The main threat from any strong storms will be hail and damaging winds.  Tornadoes are not likely, but we will, of course, be watching the radar VERY closely.

There will be another round of more widespread showers and storms that could produce a severe storm or two late Thursday afternoon/evening.

After Thursday, we should be okay.  As a matter of fact, Friday through the weekend, I am expecting mostly sunny skies with highs in the low to mid 70s and lows dropping into the 40s.

Pollen is a problem again today.  Anything over 120 is VERY HIGH.  Our latest count as of this morning was 1,250!  Bless you!
