MARION COUNTY,TN. (WRCB) -- The body of a construction worker, missing since Monday afternoon in Marion County, has been found.
Sheriff Bo Burnett tells Channel 3, the man's body was found 70 feet below the lake's surface, just below the Haletown Bridge.
Haletown Fire Chief Mikey Tudors says a he fell into the water while working on a barge.
Tudors says the man came up once, gasping for air, but went back under.
The sheriff says crews are in the process of recovering the body, with removal expected shortly after 11:00 p.m. CDT.
Sheriff Burnett says the man was found using an under water camera.
Channel 3 has crew en route.
