Arrest made in Bellview Avenue shooting

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) -- A man wanted in connection to Chattanooga's latest shooting is now behind bars.

Hamilton County deputies arrested 28-year-old Michael Lawson Monday night.

Police say Lawson shot Tim Estep Friday night on Bellview Avenue.

Estep was treated at Memorial Hospital for his injuries.

Lawson faces several charges, including aggravated assault and attempted first degree murder.

He is being held on a $250,000 bond and scheduled for court on April 3.
